    Annemarie’s Story – Self Improvement in Home Improvement

    In this story, Annemarie is actually me, the author. My life was changing in amazing ways, in fact I was attracting success in areas I wasn’t even aware I had thought possible.

    I had found my dream man, was enjoying the luxury of working from home and doing what I am born to do. I was also moving into the fabulous new apartment I had fantasised about as I passed by it looking at its For Sale sign every day for nearly a year.

    Faced with the thrill of planning the interior design of my new home, the next block in my unconscious which had been withholding my divine prosperity revealed itself when I began to look for furniture and fittings.

    I reiterate as I do with everything I write that everything on the outside along with how we describe it, use it and feel about it is a mirrored reflection of the dynamics of our subconscious. Asking the key question why about everything we do and own provides answers that years of self development and improvement can leave wanting.

    That said, the process of buying our furniture was the process of “finding things to create comfort and happiness within myself” as my home is a metaphor for how I perceive and live within myself. Furthermore my partner gave me free reign which demonstrates that my husband (expression of my male (power)) trusts me to ‘build’ a comfortable me.

    Observe what happens.  Watch how a powerful healing opportunity to life long self-sabotaging behaviour presents itself and how, once SEEN, can be eradicated so simply.

    Self Improvement begins, but what do I buy?

    I was staring at a blank canvas. Aside from the office (which I knew my partner would monopolise, fill with his boy’s toys and essentially fight for a colour scheme based on black and silver), I was excited about planning and designing another four beautiful high ceiling, classical and elegant rooms.

    I was excited by the freedom to be creative especially as I was passionate about interior design and more importantly money was no option!

    I had an idea of what I wanted already and set about looking for the essential items first; furniture, carpets and light fittings.

    With a blank canvas, complete freedom to do what I wanted and plenty of money, this should be a breeze right?

    I started with the LIGHT fittings (clearly light is a priority focus within me). I scoured the internet and found some gorgeous lamps in the U.S. I loved them because they were very UNIQUE and very ATTRACTIVE.

    Having noted and listed them all in terms of what I wanted to order I then moved on to the FURNITURE. I wanted items that were both ELEGANT to match the chandaliers and high ceilings and were COMFORTABLE and perveyed HARMONY.

    I was also aware that I wanted to keep the rooms clear of clutter and when it came to the dining room (AREA OF NOURISHMENT) I opted to keep the room simple with a BIG BOLD dining table that was STRONG and the main focus.

    As I couldn’t find anything big and bold enough off the shelf so to speak I opted to have the table MADE TO ORDER. We knew about a shop that is passionate about wood and sculpts all manner of furniture to order.

    When the table finally came it was exactly what I wanted and it really made the room. My partner was also wild about it; it was a roaring success.

    Then I decided on two carpets.

    One carpet was for the sitting room (CORE/CENTRE) which was big and needed a carpet to CONNECT the furniture together otherwise people sitting on the sofas felt too far from each other and disconnected.

    The second carpet was for the dining room (NOURISHMENT AREA) which was to be the centre piece under the dining table and chairs.

    I felt attracted to persian designs and surfed through hundreds of websites looking at carpets until my vision started to blur. That alone should have told me that some ‘discomfort’ was starting to creap in!

    I was starting to observe that this process was starting to take A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME and even my partner asked me what was taking me so long to decide. 

    Once I had decided and wanted to order items I discovered that everything I had ordered was NOT AVAILABLE. I had chosen items IN OTHER COUNTRIES (outside myself) which meant that lamps were not compatible with the power outage where I lived in Denmark and the carpets were almost double the price to import!

    I was so frustrated I burst into tears.

    The key to releasing my success and more prosperity 

    As I had planned my home (new version of myself) what I needed to change came to light.

    I realised that I was still ‘looking for things outside of myself to cement my unique, attractive, elegant, comfortable self’. More specifically, that by looking for LIGHT (true self as we are originally light intelligence), I was creating a conflict with my POWER OUTAGE.

    Furthermore, in looking outside of myself for laying foundations in myself (carpets) it had been costing me double (the price of the import duty).

    I also observed that whilst I like “strong, simple and bold” I was not actually living out that truth. The process of homing myself in reality was still “long and complicated which brought about exhaustion and frustration!”

    I also had learned that in terms of my nourishment process (dining room) it was important for me to decide what I wanted and not ACCEPT WHAT’S ON OFFER. It was time to live out this truth within me.

    Once I saw this I knew what to do.

    I realised that this process of creating a home was mirroring the process of creating and cementing the person I really felt I was. The only way to solve it was to complete this process more quickly, smoothly and more importantly, heal the main issue; I had to shop in my own country (from inside myself not outside!).

    I know that anything physical in my life is actually my ‘mind in action’ broken down into particles of energy and that by playing with the physical I would in fact, reprogramme my mind in the same way.

    Instant Self Development and Healing

    I told my partner that I was going shopping at a store (which in fact was only a bus ride away). I told him that I would head over there and asked if he could join me later with the car to bring back some accessories which I anticipated buying.

    I hasten to add here that I had no idea what was in the store so this was a decision based on trust that I would find what I wanted. I was tempted to go online and surf the store but I knew there was a possibility I would linger again and allow myself to procrastinate.

    Within an hour or so I had ordered about $20,000 worth of items. I was shocked at not only how much I liked and enjoyed what I ordered but how I actually chose items completely opposite to what I had been looking at before (what a surprise).

    Everything in the sitting room (CORE/CENTRE) gelled wonderfully and a good test was to see how people behaved when they visited. They would often put their feet up and curl up on the sofa and I knew this was a sign that people felt comfortable; I knew that if people were comfortable then it was evidence that I was comfortable within herself.

    This new home gave rise to many important changes in my life although it took the realisation about the carpet I had chosen for the sitting room to help me see a self-sabotaging belief that now needed to be dissolved which you can hear about in this video clip.

    The opportunities we have to unleash our success and eradicate blocks and contradictions withholding our divine prosperity are right under our noses. The solutions are more simple and more easily cemented into our reality than we realise.

    Jane’s Story – Key to her Prosperity

    This story demonstrates how to take one simply project within a business and see clearly how we cause the circumstances we do. Jane’s story demonstrates that behind the seemingly insignificant situations, our answers are staring us in the face LITERALLY.

    As you read the story do your best not to focus on the details so much as sitting back and seeing the story more as a metaphor of what was happening inside Jane’s unconscious mind. Look at the words in red to help you shape the metaphor.

    Once upon a time there was a shoe store owner called Jane whose business was called The Unbelievable Shoe Store.

    This shop was located on a very quiet side street about 30 metres off the main shopping street in the centre of a major thriving city. Furthermore, when you looked at Jane’s shop it was not obvious it was a shoe store as the window was essentially full of handbags with the odd shoe next to it!

    One day Jane decided that she wanted to increase the prosperity of the business and so she decided to hire someone to improve her sales on the internet. The person she decided to employ was Paul whom she observed and felt confident that Paul knew what he is doing proven by his own prosperity on the internet.

    The advice Paul gave Jane was to build a new online shop as it was actually easier to rebuild a new strong foundation that included flexibility to expand in the future rather than try to work with her old shop as it is.

    Paul also advised Jane that she will get what she pays for when she invests on the internet (as the internet is a precise mirror of the physical world) and if she decides on choosing a cheaper option then she will not save in the long run.

    The project began (with the procurement of a cheaper webbuilding option).

    The project continued to hit problem after problem due to miscommunication, confusion and insecurity as Jane was withholding access of passwords etc. to facilitators so they could do the work for Jane without having to use up Jane’s time and focus.

    The project’s deadlines came and went and although Jane had paid the investment it was still not bearing fruit. She was still working with the old shop online and though the structure of the new shop was coming along it was fraught with problems.

    When Paul called Jane to see how things were progressing, he could tell that Jane was very upset and she didn’t want to talk about it. Paul called her on it and enquired “What exactly is the problem, what is holding things up now?

    Jane said that the webmaster was having problems integrating the fields for the new shop’s database with the old shop.

    Paul made it clear to Jane that these must be resolved and a solution must be agreed upon otherwise all the investment in terms of time, money and energy is wasted. Jane was too frustrated to resolve it and instead went on to talk to Paul about employing his services in some other activities to increase the business until this was finished.

    Paul made it clear to Jane that she was trying to sidetrack her own goals. Goals that would flourish if she completed the project. Paul was very keen to see Jane succeed. One of the reasons why he accepted the brief was because he saw Jane’s potential in the business and so encouraged her to stick with the strategy he foresaw would do just that.

    Meanwhile Jane turned her focus onto other things, one of which included flying spending thousands of dollars flying to the other side of the globe to attend a healing and transformation course.

    Seven months after the deadline and having made a large investment, the project was still unfinished and the new shop still a work in progress.

    The Solution to Jane’s Hidden Prosperity

    No activity, conversation or relationship in our life is random or coincidence. ‘We bring to us that which we are’ but because it is disguised, we can’t see how to retrieve what is of value and what is unfruitful and oftentimes we simply assume that the ‘stuff happens‘.

    Jane’s story starts with a business that is UNBELIEVABLE.

    Whilst you may have assumed another impression on “The Unbelievable Shoe Store” and immediately read into the name ‘An amazing shoe store, perhaps bigger, more interesting or better priced than others’, the truth is that all words ‘put into action’ the instruction of their meaning.

    In the case of the name of Jane’s store this is “a store that is not believable!” or to be precise (as Belief means “to have confidence and faith in”) The Shoe Store that has no confidence or faith.

    Taking a more realistic view of the shop name now you can see that Jane declared a statement. “The Shoe Store containing lack of confidence and faith”. That said I can imagine that Jane has had to work extra hard for any success and possibly why she wanted to save money on the shop update.

    Jane has probably had to invest much more on every level that she would otherwise have had to. In fact Jane is a successful business woman so it is very exciting to ponder how much more fruitful she could have been if the mission had been more clearly intended in the first place.

    Before you get sidetracked into protesting that you can’t just change the name, I agree and it is not necessary. That would be like saying “Dear God, I have the wrong name of my Birth Certificate, just knock me down and have me be born again and start from scratch”. If that were the case I would have been erased long ago!”

    So if you have an Unbelievable Shoe Store then this would explain why the shop was on a side street away from the CENTRE OF THRIVING LIFE and the evidence of its lack of confusion and faith was evidenced in its front window in that what is was supposedly selling was not obvious. The lack of confidence and faith was now filtering through to the shop front just as the law of attraction dictates.

    Perhaps you are already starting to see how the detail in what we do is significant and what we intend within what we do must be clear because it will either taint everything we touch or prosper everything we touch.

    It comes as no surprise that Jane wanted to increase her shop’s sales. She trusted her instincts and opted for Paul whom she had concluded had proven results. As Jane has already proven herself a successful business woman, it was prudent of her to trust her instincts. The reality is that all our answers are often other people talking back to us but because they are separate we don’t claim the glory of accepting our own wisdom and genius.

    Paul started a project transforming the dynamic of Jane’s OLD shop online into a NEW shop online but what ensued was full of confusion and mistrust. A couple of issues presented themselves which lead to ‘a problem integrating the OLD with the NEW’.

    Many issues were caught up in this slow-down… namely choosing a cheaper option and therefore the webmaster was not the rightly qualified servicer, holding back access to passwords so people could get the job down without disturbing an already busy Jane, and confusion in the communication of the original project. All of these issues originate from a place of lack of confidence and faith!

    I am guessing that Jane concluded that another expensive healing course would fix things. I guess she figured that when she came back she would be armed with a magic solution and everything would somehow have changed. Perhaps she felt she needed something extra when Jane had already proven herself a genius! I confess that I have been around the mountain a few times in this regard.

    What actually presented itself to Jane with this new venture was an opportunity to ‘heal the lack of confidence’ and the only way to do it was to complete the transition from the old to the new shop.

    This project was the physical manifestation of the belief systems within Jane’s unconscious mind and by focusing everything she had on completing this would have opened up a new chapter. Jane herself chose the ‘advisor’ and Paul advised the new shop so this is what Jane’s own instincts were telling her. If Jane hadn’t felt good about Paul and chosen him anyway then she would have been going against her instincts so what ensued would not have been successful.

    The beauty of Jane’s story is that it is a perfect example of what we all do on a daily basis but that’s because we don’t necessarily know that what is happening outside is telling us what is happening inside and if we translate what we see using the words in the situation (precisely as they are uttered), we are able to see clearly what we need to do to flourish and cause a life transformation.

    There is always a solution in every problem we face. It is a spiritual law. The Law of Polarity states that everything that exists has an exact and equal opposite. So where a problem exists, so lies the solution.

    Jane’s story demonstrates how our mission in any given task, if not defined clearly, corrupts everything related to it to the exact same degree whether that be a business mission, a specific project or what we intend from a relationship.

    Jane started out with an Unbelievable Shoe Store. From the onset it was clear that everything was going to cause circumstances not to become all that it could be.

    The name caused the shop front to become visually another type of shop;

    The name caused the shop to be located alongside the major thriving centre of life (close but still not on it!) which means that Jane (wether she was conscious of it or not would often have felt so much potential and yet frustrated that it never came to fruition the way her intuition was telling her was possible).

    When she wanted to ‘upgrade’, the same dynamic expressed itself in the new online shop database in that it could not integrate with the old. It meant that somewhere in Jane’s subconscious there was a resistance about this transition. The new represented ‘improved confidence’ and so the resistance showed up in this project literally mirroring Jane’s mind.

    In fact you could probably examine deeper and predict that the staff were also causing problems and when looked at more closely any disappointment would have originated out of ‘lack of confidence and faith’; maybe people were employed who were actually doing the wrong job because they didn’t feel they could do the job they were actually good at?

    What could Jane do to power up her success?

    So given these circumstances and not being able to just knock down the shop or easily move the location what could Jane have done to improve her success?

    The New Online Shop Project

    I explained earlier that as far as the project goes Jane needed to bridge and solve the ‘integration’ of the shop problem to a successful conclusion. The integration problem was within Jane’s subconscious and therefore if she resolved the outward expression of this disconnection she would in fact heal the integration within her mind.

    However, going back to the source of the mission of the business which started with the naming of the shop this is what Jane can do to create a viral effect of prosperity and healing.

    Shop Name

    Jane could include on her site, shop window and merchandising a clear statement that COMPENSATES and REINSTATES the lack of ‘confidence and belief’ inherent in her business.

    Keep in mind what I said that what happens in the physical is simply the outward expression of our minds and if we want to ‘cement’ a truth into reality we have to play with the physical objects, words etc. to mould them into what we clearly intend.

    Jane could have addressed the ‘unbelievable’ with a statement like:

    The Unbelievable Shoe Store, the perfect place to find your perfect shoe.”

    I have just taken an impulsive stab on one idea but you can see that the statement that is added includes confidence and faith. It redresses the energy instigated by ‘unbelief’.

    If Jane did not believe in the statement she starts cementing into her promotional material then this would not be appropriate.

    I suspect that this change would bring about a more fruitful business. This could manifest in many ways. It could mean that suddenly:

    • more customers are hearing about her shop;
    • a satisfied customer with a large customer list recommended Jane’s newsletter and her subscriptions have increased wildly;
    • it could mean that the shop could actually change location and suddenly a lucrative location becomes available at a great price;
    • she suddenly has an influx of new staff who are worth their weight in gold, etc. etc.

    We cannot predict how our minds change the fibre of our circumstances but if we take control over what we see happening and re-programme it the way we want, we can be confident that what happens will be in alignment with the intention defined in the changes we made.

    In Jane’s case it was to cement ‘belief’ and eradicate the ‘unbelief’ which meant this would have had a viral effect in every activity in the business from the shop window through to the accountant the business attracts. It would have cleared up the effects of “no confidence”.

    Every aspect of our lives can be powered up and transformed by looking into the detail of what we are saying. Looking at what we are intending with the use of words… anything from what we chat about to the name of our company or what nickname we give to our car!

    Getting Perspective for Online Business Success


    Since the development of the World Wide Web considerably more businesses are conducting business online and like all new developments in life it can be many years before the realities of benefits and liabilities are realised.

    Both my partner and I have been entrepreneurs now for fifteen years and we had some fabulously lucrative ventures and some serious learning curves which have been financially cripelling.

    In the course of pursuing our businesses, we have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of entrepreneurs involved in startup and running a business which has given us some very valuable insights.

    The most shocking breakthrough was looking at my own website and suddenly realising it was not even clear what I was doing for visitors!

    Whilst being busy with other people’s business I had failed to focus on my own website and was doing the very thing that I had observed in many business owners.

    I realised that the intention and mission of my business was not only unclear, a customer’s needs were not being met within that initial ten seconds of visiting my site. In short, I was not objective enough to see why it was a miracle my site was selling any products at all!

    To this end I have provided the perspective below for you to become detached enough to gain a clear perspective from your prospective customers’ point of view and be more effective online before looking for ways to drive thousands more visitors to your site.

    Please don’t shy away from reading on because of any irritations at the thought of making changes. I fully understand your position and have endeavoured to get you to look at the site carefully to make sure you see a few simple moves that can have the most impact as I will demonstrate with my example.

    The Most Effective Online Perspective

    Although a business is operating online the fundamental buying motivations and needs of customers are still the same. What has changed though is that people have less time and they can flit from one webpage to another with the click of a button.

    It is time to stop distractions, stop buying into all kinds of business solutions which we believe will address the core problem which is converting visitors into customers when a simple but fundamental change in perspective can trouble-shoot very clearly a few moves that can address the site’s inadequacies.

    It is time to see the solution in what you have already which is the focus of my whole teaching… unhappiness reigns in the world generally because we have all moved too far away from our mission.

    This is the same for businesses with the introduction of the internet and the onset flood of differing opinions, ideas, views, sources of information and our ability to dip our heads into everyone else’s business so easily.

    Adjust Your Vision

    If you have a business online then the most successful perspective I encourage you to adopt is to start seeing your business as a highstreet shop.

    Exercise

    • Open up a browser of your website and imagine yourself as a prospective customer.
    • As I have demonstrated in the picture below. Observe only what you can see onscreen without scrolling or clicking anywhere. Now, whilst sitting looking at the online page imagine this picture embedded into a bricked building on the high street.


    • Keeping your eye on the webpage and imaging it is a shop you are standing infront of, ask yourself these questions (which you would want satisfying as a customer yourself):

    Can I immediately see what this shop is selling?
    Is it attractive and inviting, would I go in or is it boring and distracting?

    This is a very important point to focus on, when you are walking along the high street you have the benefit of a third and fourth dimensional aspect of a shop in that you can:

    1. Look through the window and see what they are also selling apart from the front window;

    2. You can get a feel inside of the atmosphere by seeing how many people are in there, the attitude of the shop assistant, the quality of the shop etc.

    With an online shop/webpage you are basing your purchasing decision on that space you first click on and the window of focus is usually a maximum of 10 seconds.

    With regard to shops on the high street people will stay longer because the physical effort they imagine in going somewhere else motivates them to ponder a little longer but not when it is so easy to just click the mouse and go somewhere else.

    Can I see how to buy easily (and have you actually tested your buying process to see how easy and obvious it is)?

    One classic example of this is putting up a picture of a book and assuming that the customer knows to click on the picture. Never assume!

    Can I see the owner (in other words is the contact page in an obvious place on the menu bar of the bottom of the page and do I have a name)?

    If your shop is a book store, is it selling books or selling everything else. (Remember how attractive a book store looks on the high street; it is usually oozing books in the window and not adverts for other shop owners products or full of DVDs, movies etc.).

    Have you identified and climbed into the hearts and minds of your prospective customer to know their needs, values and attitudes?

    Examples:

    • If your market is predominantly men do you have a ’search’ button. The search button is effectively a ‘Shop Assistant’ and men generally want to go straight to the product as fast as possible, pay and get out.
    • If your market is predominantly women do you observe whether your site/promotional material is colourful, vibrant and allows them to ’shop around’ looking at/reading things. Women have more patience and will still walk miles back to the first shop they went in if it has what they want. If your shop satisfies their needs they will come back to you.
    • You want to help Joe Average become a Millionnaire. You already know that:
    1. He will probably have low self-esteem; it is fair to say that putting up videos of a perfect image of you in an Armani suit and sparkling white teeth WITHOUT instantly connecting with him enough to let him know that you know how to cry, be scared, be overweight, out of control, in debt etc., is not going to leave him feeling he can become what you are promoting.
    2. This front page must provide a connection with him in a way that Joe can see himself benefiting from your product/service.
    3. He will have to make changes in his life and so you do not need to take care of every detail for him. If you have a simple request for his name and email and he doesn’t want to go there then he is saying that he is not serious so no need to try to make it easier for him (great intention but you cannot compensate for the part the customer has to play). Keep in mind whether you are helping the customer – don’t try to sell him anything just because you can make a sale.

    Simple and Effective Solution

    As a business owner I appreciate the investment you make online and how once a web business is established it is not so easily changed. Either because of finances or because the good will of traffic and Google’s relationship has been established and so not wise to disturb what has been built up.

    With these challenges in mind I realised that without having to re-create my site which would mean reproducing a huge amount of pages I decided that I had to find a way to address the needs of my prospective customers very effectively and simply right now.

    A website is essentially the same as a bricked building in terms of investment and effort in that you can’t just take down a site and build a new one, there are costly consequences so we have to be smart and think before acting.

    When I looked at my own site I realised that if I clearly added a Mission Statement I could compensate for some inadequacies. As my site was colourful I had to make the Mission very bold and recognisable instantly. I also added ‘Click’ text to my books and removed any links that was not relevant to my customers.

    I realised that the confusion within my site was dynamically the confusion within me. It doesn’t matter how clear we are within our minds, the outside world must match what we want to achieve. It’s one thing to be aware of something but it is another to have that awareness put into practice in a physical way.

    In fact, this clear mission statement alone lead to a whole new level of my life. The repercussions were tenfold; it birthed three new books, a whole new Online Center which I am now building and cleared up contradictions that had been withholding success in so many areas.

    When I sat down and focused I realised that I had known for a while that I was very dissatisfied with my website as it was and when I started undertaking changes I began to feel the full truth of how often I had been running the words “…it’s not good enough, it’s not going to sell” through my mind.











    Conclusion

    • Start by writing out your Mission Statement if you haven’t already.
    • Make sure you do the exercise above with your website(s) and see where you can make simple adjustments to address any points I raised earlier.
    • Don’t give control to webbuilders or designers in that they will only be as effective as your brief. Furthermore, many webdesigners/builders can be employees and don’t know the true value of your invested money. When undertaking web services make sure those assisting you dig into who you are, your values, your mission, your market, your intended goals etc.

    So many business owners whom I have have helped with mockups have no idea what they want at the onset but are happy to tell you what they don’t want once you spend days building something. Everyone’s time is wasted. In the past we have spent tens of thousands of dollars to have a project done and key questions have never been asked from us so we paid the price of not being in control as Project Managers of our business; it was our fault.

    • Before investing in business online or undertaking more projects stop and think. It is time to slow down, get clear and shut out the distraction and insane amount of information from your world. Simply climb into the shoes of the customer and see your webpage from their perspective. Test your site with people around you who you know to be prospective customers but don’t ask people’s opinion because they will always have one and it will probably contradict yours every time!
    • You are the genius in your business, you can get all kinds of help (in fact you are wise to source out any skills you are not good at) but if you are not clear about what precisely you want to achieve and are not in control of making sure what you invest in can produce the results you hoped for you will be disappointed, disillusioned and exhausted.

    As much of business is now conducted online we have generally lost touch with the essential ingredients of the buying and selling process; in focusing on statistics we have lost sight of the core human aspect of a shopper.

    As many new business owners have started up online the conversion from visitors to customers has stayed relatively unsuccessful causing them to look at all manner of solutions that actually could be solved by looking at the site as a human and not basing all the decisions on hearsay, statistics and what other people are doing.     Why don’t things change despite my investment in self-development and personal coaching?

    In short, because for every thought or action in alignment with wanting and believing life can change, there are more contradicting thoughts and experiences going on within your mind and in evidence in the physical world around you.

    Everything you do in the hope of self improvement (providing it is possible to create change) will be cooking but the amount of contradictions that exist in your mind and your life are way beyond what you are aware of.

    You have 57,600 seconds per day and even if you re-traced your physical actions alone you would see why the progress is so slow.

    I encourage you to stop investing more money in the pursuit of attracting abundance and wealth if you are not clearing up the contradictions around you which are evidence of your consciousness.

    One of the biggest delusions that escapes people is not believing we can improve our wealth, confidence and actually feel in control with what we have already. Within us lies everything we need but we are creating chaos out of what is available to us thereby leaving us to believe that the problem is much bigger, insurmountable and costly than it actually is. I know, I’ve got all the T-shirts!

    Success is in the details, not necessarily investing in more books, coaching or business advertising. The reason why we end up investing in more is because we are blind to the truth written in the circumstances around us already.

    Yes, you can see the things and the people around you but you cannot see the truth behind them even though it is easy to find if you know where to look.

    I was a healing addict for about 15 years and that very habit not only affirmed that I thought I was damaged or I thought I needed more than I was BUT I never defined what I wanted to change. I simply felt miserable and went along ASSUMING these workshops would fix me!

    How can anything resolve what I have not defined?

    Furthermore, I never engaged my brain when the therapist tried to book me in for another healing session; I never asked why she assumed I would need it; she mirrored what I was thinking.

    We cannot attract to us anything which we are not within.



    How do I know which is the best self improvement book or coaching course for me?

    The one that you are most attracted to, that you will actually invest in and will ensure you complete what you are asked to do.



    What is the most common reason why people don’t reach their goals and attract the prosperity they want?

    Distraction which is fundamentally caused by fear, lack of focus and not wanting to make the effort.

    Some people don’t even complete a book they bought before they are buying another one whilst looking for ‘the one’ that is going to sprinkle magic dust over everything and they are going to wake up deliriously happy.

    Breakthroughs come from defining a mission and completing the mission.

    It’s fair to say that unfortunately most people look upon change with overwhelm. They take on the whole elephant at once instead of understanding that if each task required was completed (or they didn’t move onto something else until it was completed) they would arrive at their destination much faster.

    The picture that comes to mind when I think of this is the yellow brick road in The Wizard of Oz. It is an amazing movie for teaching us about self improvement and finding our happiness. Dorothy encounters many challenges as she follows the yellow brick road which are in fact going to happen to all of us but as Dorothy overcomes them and gets back on the yellow brick road and keeps taking steps forward (regardless of knowing what’s ahead) she finally arrives at the Emerald City.

    In my experience I have found that people will go to extraordinary lengths to avoid the solution that will move them forward.

    Someone once came to me asking to me to show them what was really causing the problem in a relationship and how they could solve it. I recommended a task that required them to visit their partner taking with them a delicious hamper of lunch containing their partner’s favourite wine or coffee.

    Immediately I told them what to do they started to tell me precisely how events were going to unfold. (Funny how they knew what would happen before they even got there huh?)

    Six months passed and in the time I reminded them about them three times but it still didn’t happen. Instead the person found it easier to fly to Australia on a $4000 self development course which they justified as “I need to work on myself more”.

    With regard to the exercise that I recommended, with each resistance they came up with, I told them exactly what to say to keep it powerful knowing that eventually their partner would realise they had a problem and would come around.

    The truth was that they realised the exercise would resolve the friction but their unconscious mind didn’t want to change. It was easier to find $4000 and travel a phenomenal distance because they were defaulted to “doing it the hard way” rather than take a 15 minute bus ride up the road with a picnic hamper.

    That’s the essence of the challenge we are all up against. We are defaulted to the harder way and when the simple solution is presented our body will fight the new neuralpathway trying to be built that says “it can be easy” and we will find any distraction no matter how costly rather than change our behaviour. Why is change hard?



    How do I know my dominant thoughts?

    Look at the physical aspects of your during the day; your actions, the people and the conversations and your possessions.

    You might argue that you are working too hard and that you think about having lighter work or putting your feet up but a point of FACT is that you are misleading yourself.

    A thought spurs a feeling which spurs an action. If you are overworking it means that you have an abundance of thoughts promoting hard work (for you) than any other experience; you might be aware of the conscious thoughts you willing bring up about a different job for example but the defaulted thoughts and emotions running by you throughout the day is contradicting you.

    Sure you have thoughts and emotions ‘in the process of becoming’ but the evidence of whether you believe it 100% is when it actually happens.

    That means that your thoughts, your feelings and your activities have to be in agreement.

    Stop looking outside of your cirumstances and look inside your home and office spaces and you will be amazed at what you are allowing to exist every day (that you are blind to) that is a complete contradiction to what you are pursuing.

    Bottomline is that what has made its way into a physical form is what you truly believe and while it still EXISTS nothing can manifest in its place.

    Short answer – Paying attention to the words that leave your mouth!

    The words that leave your mouth are evidence of what exits in your mind… and it is important to know because what is in your mind is being sent to the Let’s Manifest This department of you as a Creator.

    What you say is what you mean.

    If what leaves your mind is not suggesting the lifestyle that you want to live, change it.

    Likewise how you speak to other people and how you treat them verbally is how you treat yourself so you need to stop all criticism and start allowing room in your speaking for other people to have a great life.

    If you recorded everything that left your mouth for one day you would probably be shocked.

    If you are serious about change, ask your partner and those closest to you to help you by pointing out when you are speaking in a limited, negative, destructive way. The disclaimer I add here though is that there better be a great deal of love in your relationship and you better be serious about improving because you will get very testy when they stop you every five minutes to correct you.

    The Bible makes it clear how we make anything happen, when God created the world the Bible says “God SAID “Let there be Light”. Not God created light… made light appear… discovered light… found light… read a book about light. We are made in the image of God and therefore as Creators make things happen in the same way.

    The words coming from our mouth is what is in the process of being created but the reality is that it takes a conscious effort and again people want the change but are not prepared to make the effort.

    The biggest irony is that the things we need to do to create change are very simple but we don’t make it easy because our body is designed to keep itself ‘as is’ and will send an impulse of resistance to the change in our mind which we commonly experience as ‘nervousness, irritation, tiredness, nausea or fear’.



    Can my life partner or business partner affect my success?

    Ultimately, no other person has any power to control your success.

    However, you will attract a partner who mirrors characteristics of your behaviour so it is important to surround yourself with a partner and people who are positive, creative and believe in your dreams and possiblities.

    Resistance on the outside is evidence of resistance on the inside.

    If you are with a partner whether that be in a close relationship or in a business, you need to observe what YOU see in them. What YOU observe as positive are characteristics that are inherent in your mind and emotions; what you don’t like or are repelled by is behaviour you need to be aware and decide whether it is something you need to stop doing… or behaviour you need to do more of.

    More importantly, while the characteristics you observe are still upsetting you, it means you are still upset within and this will effect your ability to create what you want. Bad feelings attract bad experiences. Furthermore, when you are feeling bad anything you put your hand and resources to is all infected by that energy.

    Observing behaviour in your partner that upsets you does not mean you should disconnect from a partner it simply means that the relationship needs work to resolve the conflict to a peaceful place.

    Generally speaking people give up on relationships too quickly simply because they can’t be bothered to make the effort or they assume people or relationships can’t change. What we fail to realise is that we attract what we are even though the person can outwardly look very different so disconnecting without first understanding our own dysfunctional behaviour means we will simply recreate the same situation all over again… just a different face, different place.

    It is important that your partner be on the same page as regards your lifestyle and supports your dreams. If they do not always STOP and ask why. Then take their concerns and ask yourself if what they are expressing is somewhere in your subconscious.

    Let me give you an example.

    Imagine that you have started your own business and you observe that any time you talk about the business your wife gets irritated.

    You stop and ask her “Honey, why are you angry all the time about my new business. I’m doing this for us so we can all have more money and free time together?

    If she answers that “It means you don’t spend enough time with the kids.” , then you need to examine your own conscience and see if you are running thoughts and emotions along those lines. If you create it in your own conscience, the outside has to mirror that.

    Keep in mind that you will eventually become that which you are in the presence of if there long enough so keep your close relationships full of people who are positive, uplifting and share values that are important to you.

    There are so many books on self improvement, self growth, healing and prosperity, what would I benefit by buying yours?

    Firstly, every book is different as every person writing it is unique. If you ask because you are in a mindset of “Oh what will another book do for me?” then my experience prompts me to suggest that you have somehow, without realising it, missed the point; this is common.

    It is also prevalent for you to note whether you did the things that the last half dozen books recommended that you did? Perhaps you figured you would do the exercises later when you got to the juice?? If so I can certainly relate to you, that was my biggest problem.

    What my books do is what I am anointed to do. I help people FOCUS by bringing them into the present moment enough to see the solutions that are under their nose but without the right perspective they would probably never have come across them.

    I can confidently say that they achieve this from the feedback I get.     I have worked with so many entrepreneurs who have invested so much time, energy and money into businesses and have not yielded expected profits simply because there are some critical contradictions in the matrix of what they BELIEVE they are setting in motion and they are not aware of how to see them.

    Self Awareness is an area I have pursued since I can remember but failed to see how important it was to write about and help other people with.

    It is true to say that from a the perspective of the human condition, statistically 8 out of 10 people don’t make changes because there is an effort involved. As the benefit they have envisaged is clearly not enough to motivate them to press on through this effort they fail to make changes.

    However, it is in point of fact easier to operate in a wealthy way than the contrary. It is in fact easier done than said opposed to what we are defaulted to assume by our bodily sensations that it is easier said than done.

    The reason why I am confident to suggest you can make the changes with EASE is because of these two reasons:-

    • my books help you understand and recognise the urges that you need to press on through where you otherwise might sense it is something ‘wrong’ or hold you back by your physical sensations;
    • I provide ways for you to make the changes within the busyness of your current lifestyle. I have made it clear that you do not need anything else to make the change happen… you can re-programme as you go and this is how you can ‘make success easy’ as opposed to many other ways of changing your behaviour.

    It is for the latter reason that I started writing in the first place. I realised that most of the practices that I invested in required me to undertake daily practices that in reality I was not motivated to keep up because it took me out of the routine I was already ’stuck’ in.

    The self development techniques, books and practices I invested in are very lucrative in terms of their potential but I knew that anything I could NOT SUSTAIN AS A HABIT, would not attain the change in behaviour I needed. The reason being that my neural pathways would constantly be de-constructing and starting construction of a new belief only to fail to establish itself as I didnot keep up the consistent repetition and focus.

    I spent at least 20 years devoting all my free time to healing courses and sessions trying to take control of my misery and so I fully understand the problems that people have changing their behaviour.

    In fact, changing our behaviour is the hardest thing for us to do but NOT because it is actively hard but simply because we make it hard by allowing ourselves to be distracted by our emotional and physical sensations prompted by our body which is vying to keep us ‘as is’.




    Why am I not able to manage my emotions the way the CALL Formula shows me; is there an easier way?

    I can say with confidence that there is no easier way for you to manage your emotions (independently) than with The Call Formula.

    There are possibly ways as easy, or possibly a machine out there or a drug that can alter your state of consciousness but if you are finding yourself on a roller coaster of anger, frustration, jealousy, fear etc. and need to take control of yourself, the CALL Formula is a practical, simple method for you to take full control.

    Whilst this method, along with all solutions you consider, can take you 90% of the way you still have to make the effort and this is what separates the people who prosper much more than those who have too much month left at the end of the paycheck.

    It is with love and understanding that I speak frankly and say that the truth is that whilst the CALL Formula is very simple and everyone can do this, you might not be having the instant result you want because you are more comfortable in the emotional state you are caught up in. Whilst your conscious mind is rationalising the benefit you will gain from making the effort, you are probably used to the unhappy state and have come to dismiss it as ‘life’.

    It’s not that the effort is hard but it is more a case of we want to dump the bad feeling somewhere else as fast as possible which is usually any person in our immediate vicinity at that time.

    In most cases we are so used to being upset that we actually can’t relate to the benefit of what will happen when we make the change and so the motivation of gaining the benefit is not real enough for us to make the effort to take control. The benefit is simply a theory at the stage where we are flying high on the destructive emotion state we are caught up in.

    However I want to make it absolutely clear that if you do not take mastery over your emotional upsets you will continue to attract miserable experiences. It is prudent to mention here the fact that I experience very intense emotional reactions (if you understand astrology, my Moon is in Scorpio in a very high degree) and realised at a young age that if I did not master these emotional explosions I would end up in serious trouble.

    The fact that I CAN do this (and no coincidence that I developed the Call Formula as a solution myself), means anyone can do this… and furthermore, the more you practice taking control and consciously manoevring yourself into a different state the easier it becomes.

    I use the CALL Formula all the time and I can say joyfully that I hardly recognise myself from the emotional wreck I used to be.

    Business Prosperity by Defining the Mission

     

    It is essentially the contradicting beliefs of a business owner that hinders personal growth, success and prosperity of a business.

    A business is essentially an ORGANIC EXPRESSION of the consciousness of the business entrepreneur(s); their thoughts and feelings in action.

    As a business is changed the owner is changed and vice versa.

    Put Behaviour and Consciousness First.

    Whether a business employs people or not, riddled within the fibres of daily activities will be the evidence of the owner’s thoughts and feelings which are driving the business into success or constant struggle.

    Self awareness, self improvement and self development is critical to any business owner more so than ever because the business is effectively an extension of the owner’s consciousness.

    So often business owners separate their business from their identity in their mind. They can find themselves feeling in control of their own personal relationships and health but out of control in their business behaving as though their business is a seperate entity and unrelated to the other areas of their life.

    The business breakthroughs sought are more often found in spotting the contradictions and confusion than in the vast investments in time, money and changes.

    A mission statement defines what a business is intending to achieve, its vision and the ways it will achieve it.

    The reason for getting clear about a business mission is because it makes defining strategies easier.

    It is so easy to get side-tracked with unfruitful business activities in the pursuit of more money. However, business owners can so easily stray from their true path and the passionate motivations forming the business. In doing so, entrepreneurs can lose the benefit and support of the super natural power that created everything by not fulfilling the path which hearts have been urging and which caused the business start up.

    A mission remains a mission regardless of any changes in financial season or outer circumstances.

    The Mission Statement of ‘Make Success Easy’as Example

    “To help you manifest your divine prosperity by showing you how to discover and remove the deeply buried conflicts and blocks to your wealth existing in what you can’t see in your life causing your life so far.” (MakeSuccessEasy.com)

    When you sit down and clearly define your Mission Statement on paper you can start to see where:-

    1. A business may be confused or contradicting itself.

    • If a business owner is confused then everything else in the business is confused; customers are confused about where to find information, how to pay, whether to buy or not. Suppliers are ineffective. Websites, blogs and advertising material appear complicated, emails and deliveries go astray etc.

    2. Investing in daily methods of operation (and considering some which actually are not in alignment with the business’ mission.

    • Within my business mission I have stated clearly ‘Divine Prosperity’ which is something written into an individual’s day dreams. I realised that not everyone dreams big in terms of wanting to effect millions of people so when I produce something it has to be affordable and accessible to as many people as possible.
    • In order for me to manifest MY divine prosperity I realised that my dreams are big and therefore I have to serve a great number of people. With that mission in mind, I realised that offering to go into people’s homes and work one on one would limit the scope of my business achievements. Without me being clearly focused on my mission I could so easily have got distracted by other people’s lucrative suggestions just because there are many things I could do. Keep in mind, all opportunities do not have be pursued.

    3. The mission statement gets you to re-evaluate your motives and distracts you from any destructive assumptions that your business is about making money. Money only comes when we do something FIRST and the amount of money we can attract is unlimited however we must define what is it we are going to DO. A business is defined by the exchange of goods and services for money however the benefit has to come first and therefore should always be the focus.

    A business prospers to the degree that it benefits people’s lives… and customers only part with their money when a business successfully provides them with a benefit.

    My experience working with private business owners is that people so often flippantly agree that they know their business is “not just about making money” but this exercise has proved how little ‘the actual mission’ is defined and in reality, secondary as a motive.

    Mission Statement Helps Clear Up Contradictions

    In the process of working on web projects for people I observe fundamental contradictions between what is written into their sales material and what is in their heart.

    I have observed conflicts between what entrepreneurs are communicating and on their sites and in their material and what they actually hope to achieve. Conflicts are dynamically the same as having the repelling of two north pole magnets pushing against each other. 

    Conflicts and contradictions send ripples of REPELLENT energy through everything in the business. Time, money and energy are wasted; exhaustion, disillusionment and lack of confidence sets as visitors to websites don’t convert to sales, customers are problematic, suppliers do not do the job in alignment with the brief, employees prove inadequate etc.

    Examples of Contradictions and Conflicts

    • A business owner including comment boxes on blogs but actually admits to not wanting comments from people! CONTRADICTION.
    • A website that over encourages customers to call if they have any problems and labouring how much support is available whilst stating quite clearly on site that “using the product is simple” CONTRADICTION.
    • Including the telephone number everywhere and emphasising telephone support whilst privately admitting not wanting to talk to customers. CONTRADICTION.
    • Business owners who employ a webdesigner for support to promote their products online and then want to fill the website and blogs with personal information about themselves; recommending links unrelated to the mission statement and anything else except the product. CONTRADICTION.
    • A business owner stating how much he/she hates promotional material coming through their front door at home and then doing the same thing to  prospective customers. CONTRADICTION.

    A business owner must outwardly demonstrate what is acceptable in terms of their beliefs and values. Take for example the business owner who is in the habit of using direct mail to send to prospective customers. It is very important to receive mail through their own door with the attitude they ‘intend’ from their prospective customers, i.e. ”Thank You for the opportunity”… not “Thank you but I’m not interested” – words are powerful, they give specific instructions and do become reality.

    As long provision has been made for the fundamental needs of a customer have been met, so many of the sales activities do not need to be entered into just because other business owners run their business in a certain way.

    If you are a business owner and haven’t defined your business Mission Statement before, start by considering the purpose, values and how you will achieve the business’ mission. You can of course Google some examples but I would encourage you to sit and focus yourself before you get distracted by anyone else’s version.

    Remember why you started the business in the first place.

    • What was in your heart that motivated you (besides money)?
    • What skills gave you confidence?
    • What did you envisage happening in the future?

    Goals fail because they aren’t defined and kept in focus.

    Personal Power is hiding in your sitting room

    I’m guessing if you are reading this you are a person who is very interested in improving the quality of your life. I’m even hedging my bets that you’ve invested a lot of time, money and energy in all kinds of personal development books, courses, seminars in the pursuit of more success (great news… determination always pays off!).

    In fact, perhaps this is the breakthrough point in your life, that moment when all your “When God When?” frustration bears fruit.

    Before we begin can you imagine meeting me in your sitting room (or the place you call your living area of your home). Once you’ve got a picture in your mind we can begin.

    So let’s get your success activated.

    Take a look around the room and I want you to observe all the things you are not happy with. If you are just imagining this (as you’re in the office) then stop for a minute and focus on the things that come to mind first… you can continue the breakthrough looking at everything else in the room when you know what to do.

    Focus on one or two things that you are drawn to and take a moment to ask how you feel about them or why they are there and then listen CAREFULLY to what you say about what you see.

    Example

    “There’s my TV but I really want a flat screen, I’m tired of this one but I can’t afford a new one yet.”

    We are not going to get too deep into what your ’sitting room’ mirrors back to you about the perception of yourself at this time, we are simply going to focus on the most obvious things which can cause life changing transformation and bring on the success you are looking for. Let’s help you rid yourself of self-sabotaging mechanisms; the blocks that you need to dissolve.

    If you are imagining the television, be aware that this was put there by you, with your acceptance. Furthermore, you have just affirmed that “I do not want it… I am tired of it”… and I want a new flats creen but “I can’t afford it”.

    Whether you know this or it comes as a light bulb moment for you, the physical objects and people in your life are an exact and precise mirror of your dominating beliefs…

    …So, while an object still exists in your reality, the thoughts and feelings behind its ’cause’ still exist.

    So let’s get back to the television.

    You have affirmed you have something in your living room that  “I don’t want…. I am tired of… and I can’t afford to change it”.

    Now, this is where life can transform and your self development investments can finally pay off.

    I’m guessing what you might have had the propensity to do is observe “Oh yeah I can see that now”, then vow to change the beliefs, head into the kitchen to make another cup of tea and then get stuck into the dishes, head out to work or get involved in the hundreds of other activities in pursuit of the joy you want.

    You may even sit for a while and figure out a plan that has nothing to do with the object which showed you the breakthrough (such as the television in this case).

    The fact will always remain that whilst the objects ‘remain’, the mindset that caused them ‘remains’.

    We overlook the things that are right in front of our noses because we are so busy pursuing the things that we assume will CAUSE the transformation that would bring on the extra time or money to raise the quality of our lives.

    So back to the sitting room.

    Continue to look around and assess your relationship with everything to discover what destructive thoughts STILL EXIST WITHIN YOU.

    You created the room in your image, you are the CAUSE, the room is the EFFECT.

    Those chairs, lamps, pile of old magazines, wine stains on the carpet will speak volumes if you talk to them and then listen. Ask “Why are you here?” or “Why are you still here? and decide how you feel about what you see.

    How can you get the ball of success rolling your way?

    Simply start with the things which are broken or need attention, move on to the things which you don’t use and are just collecting dust/taking up space and get rid of them.

    We spend years investing over and over because in most cases change is not happening but change is not happening because we believe the changes required are too significant to invest in at the moment.

    The truth is that the changes are actually simple, in fact so simple we can’t believe in them because we have learned that life is complicated and hard and we need to ‘earn’ the joy we want.

    The science effecting self-development is based on the premise that life cannot change until we change and the things around you are the physical evidence of your thoughts and feelings so…

    while they are still there… you are still there!

    Let’s take that television (or an object you have focused on) and prove this.

    • You resign yourself to the idea that you haven’t got the money for a new television so you tell yourself “I’ll make do until I’ve got the money.”
    • You pray that the money will come but the fact is that money does not come until you DO SOMETHING and you are probably going to continue what you did before because ‘you haven’t changed’… how do you know you haven’t changed?… because the television remains evidence that you still believe ‘having what you want is unaffordable… you need to live with things you are tired of”.

    What’s the solution?

    Clean up your mind (the cause) by cleaning up the effects… the objects in your room… start with what you can do, success lies in the details not in big investments of money. The outside is an effect of the inside so if you change the outside it follows that the inside must change accordingly.

    It was Albert Einstein who said–

    “When the answer is simple,  God is answering”..

    and it is God that affirms that…

    ” you came to live life to the full, in abundance until it overflows”….

    …not put up with misery, be tired, struggle to pay the bills, keep patching up the car!

    Decision is a Recipe for Success

    There are two fundamental reasons why experiences do not come into being:-

    1. We do not actually make the decision; and/or

    2. Once a decision is made we do not manage it daily UNTIL it comes into being.

    A decision is actually a recipe, it is a predefined order for something specific to happen and then like a recipe it requires us to undertake behaviour to complete the instruction.

    What does that mean in life terms?

    If we take the example of getting in shape and regaining a lean, healthy body, it means we first take the decision “I am going to regain a lean, strong body” and then, each and every day I am going to get up and affirm to myself that I am going to do my best to stick with a plan to make it happen. If I slip up, I don’t quit (I made the decision!), I simply forgive myself and vow to do better.

    In most cases what happens is that maybe we have made the decision on Monday but by Tuesday we have heard about another solution or have started to doubt and question our plan because we have seen or heard something which contradicts what we were so certain about less than 24hours ago… or we simply don’t feel like doing what we need to do and I can tell you if you are following a plan based on ‘your feelings’ you are doomed now!

    If you were able to monitor your thoughts and feelings about what you want, you would be shocked to see how much ‘contradiction’ there is within you.

    I have recommended so many people on the best plan to stay in shape which is the one I use and you have no idea how many times they make the decision and then start listening to contradicting advice that puts the plan into question.

    The point is that the information they hear is probably correct in suggesting another way of reaching the goal, but they have now quit their decision because they are considering another plan!

    Sound familiar?

    Our world is awash with information, advice, solutions, alternative choices and it is not the information which is the problem, it is our inability to be ‘certain’ enough to ‘commit’ to the recipe and follow through.

    The irony is that if we felt like eating a chocolate cake for example and went to the shop and bought a cake mix, we would not doubt that if we follow the recipe on the back of the box the cake would not turn out exactly like the one on the front; the chocolate cake would as ready and as certain as the coffee!

    Our ‘requests’ fail because we let ourselves get distracted. When you make a request to the creative force, it shall be so provided you stay in alignment with what you need to do to maintain the result UNTIL it comes into being.

    Success of a plan is not an overnight event and the ‘when’ cannot be determined by you, however, it will come to fruition. Can I also remind you that patience does not mean just ‘waiting’. Patience means keeping a good attitude ‘while you wait’. These are fundamentally different behaviours.

    So the question I encourage you to ask is what have you made a decision about (or haven’t made the decision yet)?

    AND

    How many times do you doubt, get distracted, change your mind, entertain information contradicting the possibility that your decision will come about EACH AND EVERY DAY?

    If you are going to get in shape MAKE THE DECISION NOW
    If you are going to change your career, MAKE THE DECISION NOW
    If you want to be healthier, MAKE THE DECISION NOW
    If you want your business to be more successful MAKE THE DECISION NOW
    If you want to spend more time with your kids MAKE THE DECISION NOW
    If you want your hobby to become a career MAKE THE DECISION NOW

    …then each morning, get clear about what needs to happen and the things you need to stay away from…

    …then do not doubt it will happen by staying away from anything in yourself or anyone else suggesting that it won’t.

    You are doing too many things which you dismiss as ‘irrelevant’ which are blocking you progress. You can see the evidence of them inside your home hidden in so many blindspots.

    Just think about this, how many times do you believe that your business is going to become more successful and then open emails with subject lines like “The economy is going to the dogs… Customers are cutting back spending on [your product] because a financial crisis“.

    Your action to open that email is evidence that somewhere in your mind you believe this as a possibility. You’re human I know, you are curious but regardless of your curious nature which does have a purpose, you must be in control of your actions and align them with the decision you have made about the life you want. It is the one thing that separates you from success or failure.

    What has helped me really ‘GET’ what needs to happen is the analogy of going to a car showroom to buy a car. I know that if I don’t decide the colour, the process will not even begin.

    Then once I have decided the car, colour, accessories etc. I simply work each day to come up with the money. I will get the car when I have acquired enough money to meet the price and can go and exchange the money for the car… in other words, when I have done enough to prove I am serious about this car. It doesn’t work if I have even acquired the money if I still haven’t decided whether I want red or blue.

    In life though what happens more often than not is that we get excited, even make the decision about the car but because we don’t come up with the money quick enough we get disillusioned and go spend the money we have acquired thus far on something else to fulfill that void. We figure ‘Oh what the heck I can get the car later, I’m getting bored with waiting, I need something now’ and it is this habit which stops us acquiring anything of substance.

    The irony is (and something we fail to overlook or even realise) is that with everything substantial we achieve we develop a muscle which brings on more substantial things much easier now we have developed the muscle.

    Imagine what would happen if when women got pregnant they gave themselves an option every day ‘to opt out’. I suspect the world would have ended long ago. Excepting the events that are beyond our control and possibly a hand of fate, ‘birthing’ a child is a committed decision and once the decision is confirmed by ‘I am pregnant’ then the recipe has begun and the mother wakes up each day knowing what she has to do to nurture this experience.

    There are most certainly challenges and mothers can ‘feel bad’ every day for nine months in some cases but the commitment always pays off and that joy of meeting this bundle of joy when it finally comes out is nothing short of ecstatic. In fact though the pain is beyond expression, any mother I have ever spoken to has said that the joy of holding that baby dissolved the memory of the pain and they forgot about it shortly afterwards.

    The bottomline is that the Universe takes its instructions from our dominating thoughts, feelings and actions and the contradiction we create every day is more widespread than you realise.

    Those people who decide and then align their activities in mind, emotion and action to support what they have decided WIN.

    Human: “huh?????… it’s not working!”

    Everything on Earth is MAGNETIC. We are magnetised to BECOME that which we take our minds and bodies into.

    Want money? Be around places and people where money IS…

    Want confidence? Be around places and people where confidence IS…

    Want love? Be around places and people where it IS…

    Want success in your business? Be around places and people where successful business IS…

    The bottomline about the magnetic force which exists is that you will become the vibration of what IS… not what might be or is hoping to be.

    A conversation defines what IS and therefore what remains.

    An environment defines what IS and not what it is hoping to be.

    Reflect on what happened today.

    Reflect on what kind of REALITY you were in the presence of… start with breakfast and go through every hour to see what it IS made of.

    Was it any of the things you are asking of the Universe?

    What conversations did you have today… what did they contain?

    What did you work at today… what did it contain?

    What did you eat today… what did it contain?

    What exercise did you take today… was it lazy, exciting, a record!

    Universe:

    “Dear Human, I gave you today that which you wanted because you chose its PRESENCE.

    As I am the Universe I cannot interfere. You have chosen a life of FREE WILL so my message to you is to choose your moments and your words carefully and make sure you are in the PRESENCE of only that which makes you happy.

  • Secrets Blocking Your Success

    For the last twenty five years, I’ve explored so many areas of metaphysics and spirituality. Bearing in mind what’s available today, you can imagine how many CDs, books, tapes etc. by the world’s highly regarded masters, I have stored away.

    ‘Stored away’ being the point!

    As life’s becoming more and more successful, I’m digging them all out of the cupboard and doing the exercises. Now, if you knew how much I loathe ‘exercises’ you will wonder at what happened…and why am I doing them now, the time I’m on a roll so to speak, instead of the time I really needed them?

    Point is, I didn’t get it. I’ve come across some amazing material. Every time I find something awesome, I put the kettle on and jump online to tell the world and her uncle. Did I put what I read into practice myself? Heck No!

    Suddenly the word ‘dumb’ is coming to mind. I know I’m not stupid, so what’s the deal? How come, during those times when life really sucked, I told the world about my pile of lifechanging stuff and yet didn’t use it myself…just left it in a cupboard?

    Many years back, in one of Jim Rohn’s seminars he expressed how puzzled he was that despite people paying $6,000 to attend the seminar, they didn’t go out and buy the one book he recommended in the seminar.

    Similarly, years later, I invested in Paul McKenna’s hypnosis collection. I was experiencing a great deal of stress working for a bunch of Investment Bankers on the Trading Floor in London.

    I was amazed by the results I experienced from the tapes, they worked! I was even excited about going in to work. My lungs were pumping up and down as if by magic, (go figure, it was fantastic!).

    I was breathing as if I was totally relaxed although the job was very pressured and my head was saying I was stressed. Did I continue the tapes…No! (OK, that ‘dumb’ word is popping up again..)

    Years later I invested in The Sedona Method. Again, I had the most amazing experience in turning my emotions around. Did I continue doing the exercises…No!

    Now, my educational background has proven that I am operating at above normal intelligence levels so why on Earth didn’t I continue with something that was working. God knows I needed the help, life sucked in the most miserable way.

    I pondered on this for some time and have come to realise that on some level I was actually afraid of being successful. I gave myself an even harder time because I was very ‘aware’ in terms of consciousness. I already knew the resistance was only the energetic matrix of the physical body, doing its best to hang on to the thought pattern as protection…based on the premise that “if I let go of this, what will replace it“. I knew that, and yet I was resisting with all force.

    I have no doubt that Jim Rohn already knows one of the reasons why people don’t buy the book. It’s too easy. Paying $6,000 keeps the “no pain, no gain” programme in place right?

    If you buy the book, you might get rid of the programme that life can be easy. You might get rid of the fear of being successful and have it all. Well, let’s face it, you haven’t had any practice at having all your dreams realised, how do you know you will handle it?

    This explains one of the reasons why, when I needed the hypnosis tapes, I was reluctant to continue to listen to them. Studies have concluded that 83% of our belief systems are controlled by our unconscious mind and it is those programmes which continue to maintain allegiance to the disbelief that we can have it all.

    Now I am enjoying life and have so many enriching and successful projects going on, I have no problem devoting an hour a day to listen to the tapes, I actually get excited about it. I wonder what new opportunities are going to present themselves after each session. Success attracts success.

    The bizarre thing is that once you actually use the material and actually get into the habit of seeing things through, you end up cutting thousands of corners that you envisaged as potential hurdles before you got started.

    You don’t need to go look for your next step, the information will come knocking on your door. The irony about success is that it comes more easily and smoothly than you can imagine when you are in that darker, disillusioned place.

    As well as the your misguided beliefs and attitudes about success conditioned by society, you genetically inherit a considerable bunch of programmes from your parents. Effectively you came into the world with a few concrete blocks around your neck before you even start walking.

    You know what, success is the easy part. It’s living with lack and limitation which is the hard part – and you’ve already mastered that right, so you’ve got everything to gain! 

    Grab it with both hands. Your success is already there for you. Instead of doubting your success, simply ask “where” is it.

    If you want life to improve, start following up some of those emails that are dropping into your email box from people who have achieved the results you are looking for…release that habit to press the “move to folder” button so quickly. Keep them current, explore them and take some action NOW.

    Use the concept of NOW to release any fear and resistance

    Speaking about the “NOW”, we humans tend to perceive time as linear . We imagine from where we are now, the future is some point visualised to the right, ahead of us, or extending behind us.

    Everything happens in the NOW. Everything is happening simultaneously in the same location. Simply put, the day on which you read this, you term as “today” right? Imagine the same date ten years from now. When you reach that day, will you be in tomorrow or yesterday, or will it be still referred to as “today”. Yes, it will be “today”. You are always in the NOW. Even ten years on, you will still be in “today”.

    How does this help?

    Taking the premise that everything exists in the NOW, the future has already happened. You have already achieved everything you wanted. Therefore, you have already secured the information, the skills and the experiences you need to make it happen.

    So what are you afraid of? You already have what you want within your consciousness! Whatever you are dreaming about, writing a book, living with your dream partner, securing a great marketing campaign, taking on new staff, branding a new product, setting up your own business…you’ve already done it, you’ve got a clear run. Doesn’t that put things in a better perspective.

    Trust yourself, you will never let yourself down. After all, you were already born a winner. Do you know how many souls were vying for that body you are in now? And guess who won? How can you fail when you have already won? Seriously, take a moment and really GET this. You won against huge odds.

    One last word before you do, make it as easy as possible. No matter how hard things seem from where you are at this moment, you can change it. Don’t dismiss it on the premise of its easy therefore it can’t work, or there’s a catch.

    I have spent thousands and thousands of pounds over the past 25 years looking for very effective and easier ways to create success. It would not have been uncommon for me to take a two hour flight for a one hour healing session. That was before I discovered a more remarkably easy way to magnetise my success which I put into my book ‘Power Surge‘.

    I don’t believe that everyone in this Universe is destined to live a wealthy life, if we all chose a richer life, practically speaking, the world would probably cease to function.

    Earth is, as many sources conclude, a Free Will zone. Simply a place to have an “experience”. I am guessing if you are reading this you have decided a rich experience would be more fun. Boy are you in for a surprise as to what’s possible – I’m embarrassed to admit how hard and how lacking I allowed my life to be before I started following my heart full-time.

    Whatever’s in those pipe dreams…take some action today, you deserve to have it all
